WELCOME

Arby Window Cleaning is owned and operated by me, Rob Barker. I'm based in Kidlington, Oxfordshire and offer a range of domestic and commercial exterior cleaning services:

  • Window cleaning

  • Gutter clearing

  • Pressure washing

  • Conservatory cleaning and fascia washing

My regular window cleaning round covers many local towns and villages, including: Kidlington, Woodstock, Yarnton, Begbroke, North Oxford/Summertown, Marston, Bletchingdon, Tackley, Wolvercote, Stanton St John, Islip, Charlton-on-Otmoor, Long Hanborough, Kirtlington and Bladon.

I set high standards in the quality of both my cleaning work and customer service. My business has grown largely through word of mouth and I hope you'll find me to be reliable, communicative, friendly and always fair in my pricing. Please click here to read my latest Google reviews.

My work is guaranteed so if there is ever an issue, however small, just let me know and I'll do everything I can to find a solution. Arby Window Cleaning is fully insured, with £5 million public liability insurance.

I have lived in Oxfordshire for almost 25 years and have been based in Kidlington since 2012. I take my tea with two sugars (three if it's raining!).

WINDOW CLEANING

Most of my domestic window cleaning customers choose a regular visit approximately every 6 weeks. One-off cleans are planned around my regular work and are therefore subject to availability and a small surcharge.

I always prefer to visit a property before providing my no-obligation quote. This also gives you the opportunity to meet me - I work alone so it will always be me carrying out the work. When pricing up a job I take into account the size of the property, access issues (including parking) and any potentially awkward cleaning points.

Many window cleaners visit unannounced - but that's not my way of working! I'll send a courtesy message a day or two ahead to let you know I'm coming. My goal is to provide a professional, reliable service all year round, and I look for that same reliability from my customers. Once a schedule has been agreed, we should both aim to stick to it. However if you'll be going away or have building work taking place, please just let me know in plenty of time so I can plan accordingly.

Pure water cleaning

My method of cleaning utilises the very latest technology, applying pure water using an extending pole system. I carefully scrub the glass, frame and sill before rinsing the whole window to make sure it's left sparkling. Although I work from the ground, I can reach most skylights and Velux windows.

The water I use is purified using a multi-stage filtration process, removing all naturally occurring minerals and ensuring a streak-free finish when I clean your windows. There are several other benefits to this system:

  • Safety & privacy - I work mostly from ground level and generally don't need to use ladders

  • Water supply - I carry my pure water with me so won't need access to a tap

  • Access - my system of poles and brush-heads enable me to reach high or awkwardly positioned windows

  • Environmental - I avoid using chemicals, including soap, unless absolutely necessary

Please note - it's important to let the water dry naturally on the glass. Your windows will be left wet after I've finished but you'll see fantastic results once dry.
